Black and Minority-Owned Business Loan Program (BBIF)

Apply for a loan and financial training if you have a Black or minority-owned business based in Florida.

When to apply:

No deadline, actively lending.

You should apply if you

Have a Black-owned or minority-owned small business.

Have a business based in Florida.

Have credit that shows consistent repayment history. 

Do not have any active judgements, foreclosures, or cases of default.

How to get started

If ready to apply, click here to fill out a pre-qualification form online.

Within 3 business days of completing the online form, a Community Development Lender will review and reach out to discuss the next steps.

They may invite you to apply for a loan, help you improve your business financial profile to apply, or direct you to other resources to help you develop your business plan and financial profile.

Information you’ll need to provide

  • Copies of your personal federal tax returns for the last 3 years. 
  • Copies of your business federal tax returns for the last 3 years.
  • Your business plan & cash flow projections detailing the next 12 months of operation (existing businesses only) OR Your first year of operations (startups only).‍
