What is the origin story of your business?
I grew up baking cookies with my mom & grandma. Fast forward to my studies as a health coach in college, I went gluten-free and couldn't find a GF (gluten-free) cookie that tasted good and had quality ingredients. So, I took matters into my own hands and recreated the classic chocolate chip cookie I grew up enjoying.
What is your favorite thing about being a small business owner?
I love connecting with our customers and putting smiles on their faces. So many of our customers have food allergies or intolerances. They are always delighted once they try our cookies or ice cream sandwiches and express their gratitude for our products. They are why we do what we do! I am also very passionate about healthy eating education, so typically my one-on-one interactions with customers turn into great conversations around anything health related.
What is your best piece of advice for fellow business owners?
If you work within your passion, you're doing much more than just working. You're positively impacting others with your unique gifts and talents, and in my opinion, that's the point of life. Always follow your heart.
