Sign up for a free course for small business owners with early-stage ventures operating in Miami-Dade County District 5.

When to apply:

As soon as possible. Applications are due January 12, 2024.

You should apply if you

Own a business in District 5. If you're unsure which Distrist your business is located in, click here and input your business address in the 'Find my commissioner' box.

Have been in operation for at least 12 months.

Have 10 full-time employees or less including the owner(s). 

Have an annual revenue of less than $500,000.

Information you’ll need to provide

  • Basic personal information including your name, email, and phone number.
  • Details about your business including business name, date of incorporation, and number of employees. 
  • Financial information about your business such as annual gross revenue, description of your business and how you generate revenue, and the major challenges you face in growing and scaling your business. 
  • Additional information may be requested by the staff in order to process your application.

Helpful tips

  • During this program you will organize your goals and steps needed to scale and grow. Redefine your strategies, finances, operations, and team. Learn how to access the capital needed to expand.
  • Graduates will have the opportunity to enter a pitch competition.
