Information you’ll need to provide

  • Basic contact info (name, phone number, email address, etc.).
  • Demographic information (gender, race, sexuality, disabilities, etc.).
  • Business details (name, website, social media, year founded, physical address, EIN, gross annual revenue, employee amount, etc.).
  • A few short answers about: the problem you are solving, how you fix the problem, your target audience, unique value proposition, revenue model, cost structure, team strengths, and business goals.

Helpful tips

  • The review period for this grant is May 24 - May 27. Winning announcements will be made by June 2025.
  • Entries are judged on: Results to Date (25%), Soundness of Plan (25%), Clarity on the Utilization of Funds (25%), and Quality of Presentation (25%).
  • Finalists will pitch live at the Good Soil Forum, with audience votes counting as part of the final score.
  • Grants of up to $200,000 will be awarded to the top entries: First Place: $200,000, Second Place: $100,000, Third Place: $75,000 and Dallas Based Business Award: $50,000.
