As the pandemic turned into both a public health and economic crisis, a unique coalition of Miami-Dade funders, leaders, and financial institutions came together to ensure small businesses received the relief funding they needed.
The program, called RISE, reached 900 businesses employing 4,500 families with the $20 million allocated.
A new report published by Axis Helps and the Dade County Federal Credit Union, in partnership with County Commissioner Eileen Higgins’ office, explores how RISE accomplished its mission and what Miami-Dade can do to strengthen the small business sector.
