AxisHelps Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how AxisHelps, founded and managed by Urban Impact Lab, handles information when you use the AxisHelps website, account features, saved resources, and related services. Questions may be sent to info@axishelps.org.

Information you provide

When you create or use an account, AxisHelps may collect information such as your name, email address, account information, location information you choose to provide, optional profile information, saved resources, and information you send when contacting AxisHelps.

Optional profile information

Additional profile details are optional for ordinary browsing and account use. If you choose to provide them, they may be used to improve resource relevance. AxisHelps should minimize collection of sensitive information and should not require information that is unnecessary for the feature being provided.

Authentication and technical services

AxisHelps uses third-party infrastructure, including Google Firebase, for authentication, database, hosting, and related application services. Passwords are handled through the authentication provider; AxisHelps does not need your plain-text password.

Saved resources and account activity

If you use an account, AxisHelps may store the resources you save and other account-related information necessary to provide those features.

How information is used

Information may be used to create and maintain your account, authenticate you, provide saved-resource features, improve resource relevance, operate and secure AxisHelps, troubleshoot problems, respond to support requests, prevent misuse, and comply with applicable legal requirements.

Third-party programs

Creating an AxisHelps account or saving a resource does not automatically send your personal profile information to the organization offering that resource. If you choose to visit or apply through a third-party website, information you provide there is governed by that organization's privacy practices.

Cookies and local storage

AxisHelps and its technology providers may use cookies, local storage, authentication tokens, or similar technologies when needed to keep you signed in, remember settings, preserve preferences, and operate or secure the service.

Analytics
