West Palm Beach DDA Business Grants (Façade, Parklet, Grand Opening)

The West Palm Beach Downtown Development Authority helps downtown businesses with grants for exterior façade improvements, outdoor parklets and grand openings. Grants are reimbursed after approved work is done and are first-come, first-served while funds last.

Eligibility Criteria

Businesses and property owners inside the West Palm Beach DDA district. Façade grant: current City Business Tax Receipt and no City liens, code violations, overdue property taxes or City debt

tenants need the owner's written approval

some business types are excluded (for example bars, liquor stores, vape shops and national chains with 15+ locations). Parklet grant: business must be open and hold a City parklet location approval letter.

  • Façade grant covers up to 50% of exterior costs, up to $10,000 for storefronts or $20,000 for buildings of 25,000+ sq ft
  • Parklet grant reimburses up to $10,000 per parklet
  • Grand Opening Assistance reimburses up to $1,000
